The Fair Load Score is a quick way to understand how strong a load looks after fuel cost. It is designed to help drivers make faster decisions, not replace their own judgment.

How to Read the Score

Each load is grouped into one of five tiers. Higher tiers indicate stronger margin and a more attractive load.

Excellent 90–100
Good 75–89
Borderline 60–74
Risky 40–59
Bad Load 0–39

What the Tiers Mean

  • Excellent loads are strong opportunities.
  • Good loads are solid and dependable.
  • Borderline loads may work in the right situation.
  • Risky loads have thin margin and need caution.
  • Bad Load loads are weak and may not be worth taking.

Driver Preferences

Drivers can set a minimum fair score and a target net $/mile in account preferences. Fuel Fair will warn you when a load falls below those targets.

Important Note

The Fair Load Score is a decision aid. Real-world profitability can still vary based on deadhead, tolls, detention, maintenance, traffic, and your own operating costs.
